There is a growing consensus that a greater commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in the security industry will attract new talent from a wider pool of candidates who may not currently consider security as a career. Since we already face huge skills shortages, especially in cybersecurity, this would seem a clear way to grow our industry.
We are delighted that there is such enthusiasm to explore this topic further at our fifth meeting on this important topic. We will examine the challenges in building a more equal and diverse industry, and those practical steps we can all take to ensure proper inclusion.
