Monday 7 September 2020 11am – 12noon (BST)
Sharon Barber joined Lloyds Bank in 1985 and has since held a wide range of roles across the bank to become one the cybersecurity industry’s most experienced and accomplished practitioners. In September 2017, she was appointed Group Chief Security Officer, bringing together security governance, assurance, monitoring and incident management into a single function with group-wide accountabilities. Her main focus is to ensure that security has the best people capability, processes and technology to manage security risk effectively and to enable sustainable growth of the bank’s increasingly digital businesses.
Sharon is held in high regard by the many cybersecurity professionals across all sectors who see her as a role model in so many ways. We are privileged to hear her story and learn of her work as the CSO of such a large and critical organisation.
This meeting will be restricted to SASIG members only, with registration closing at 10:30am on Monday 7 September 2020. The Chatham House Rule will apply.
