In response to demands from its membership, over the past few years SASIG’s activities have increased significantly as the marketplace finally wakes up to the need to address the human aspects of cybersecurity alongside the technology.
SASIG membership is also increasing in numbers, and the seniority of attendees has moved upwards. Meanwhile all activities remain free for delegates to attend. SASIG is a genuinely sales-free environment, an aspect our membership cherishes above all else. But it became increasingly evident that some financial support would be necessary to grow the organisation to its potential. To embrace the traditional models employed by other forums or to obtain financial support by the introduction of formal sponsorship would destroy SASIG’s uniqueness, independence and spirit. SASIG Support is by invitation only. Our valued band of Supporters are carefully selected organisations that understand SASIG’s purpose and are eager to advance the human factor in cybersecurity, all the while respectful of SASIG’s ethics as we go about our business.
